We’ve put together this friendly, straightforward FAQ based on member questions and key details in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Everything here is written in plain English—no legalese.

Moneyball.win is currently in beta. We’re rapidly building new features and would love your feedback as an early member. This also means some advanced capabilities (like detailed user-activity insights) are still in development and will be added soon.

1. Where is Moneyball hosted?

Moneyball is hosted on U.S.-based infrastructure. Customer data is stored in Google Cloud in the us-central1 region (United States). We also use Cloudflare and Convex as subprocessors in support of the service.

2. How does the CRM connection work?

It’s simple and quick. We give you clear, step-by-step instructions to connect via CRM API or securely link to your spreadsheets via providers like Google Drive, Box, or SharePoint.

You’ll map a short, specific list of opportunity and account fields (no contacts, notes, activity history, or any personally identifiable information). The entire mapping process usually takes 10–15 minutes. Once connected, your data refreshes daily and powers all the analytics, insights, gamification, and predictions.

3. Who controls user access? Who can see the data?

You do—100% self-service.

As the account owner (the Member Organization), you are the admin. You invite your sales reps, managers, or anyone else you want directly in the app. You can add, remove, or revoke access instantly—no emails to us required. Every user simply checks a box on their first login to accept the Terms.

4. Can I see which users are actually using the platform?

Not yet, but user activity and engagement insights are on our roadmap. Once live, you’ll be able to see who’s actively using Moneyball so you can coach and celebrate the right behaviors.

5. Is Moneyball really free?

Yes—the core application is completely free. There are no hidden fees, no credit card required, and no usage limits. The entire core service is provided at no cost.

6. What data do you actually collect?

Very limited and very specific: only the opportunity and account fields listed below (exactly what’s in our Privacy Policy):

  • ID, Name/Title, Stage, Lead Source, Service or Product, Geographic Region, Amount ($), Date Created, Close Date, Is Closed, Is Won, Sales Rep Owner, Account

Account fields

  • ID, Name/Title, Sales Rep Owner, Date Created, Industry

7. How do you use and protect my data?

  • We use your data only to provide the Moneyball service.
  • We do not sell your data, use it for marketing, or share raw Member Organization data with third parties for their own purposes.
  • Data is encrypted in transit and encrypted before being written to storage, using organization-specific keys that isolate each Member Organization’s data.
  • We use Google Cloud, Cloudflare, and Convex as subprocessors in support of the service.

If you’re in California, you also have full CCPA/CPRA rights (access, deletion, opt-out of sale). Just email support@moneyball.win to exercise them.

8. What happens to my data if I ever cancel?

You can stop using Moneyball anytime. Once you cancel, we delete all of your data as soon as reasonably possible—no later than 14 days.
